Let's Dive into the Spring Cleaning Challenge and Home Detox Together for WEEK 2!

Spring is the perfect time to organize, declutter, detox, and clean because of nature's fresh energy.

Winter has passed, and the cold and dark season that once allowed us to rest and be still is no longer present.

The fresh air, warm sun, and inviting breeze offer us the energy to accomplish so much.

Similar to bees, spring is the time to get ready for winter survival.

They tidy their beehive, search for nectar, and preserve their sweet findings.

Schedule for May

Below is a loose schedule of how I am structuring my Spring Cleaning Rhythm & Home Detox.

If you got my previous email, you have access to my Free E-Book that will take you on the full dive of how to detox your home and live naturally.

Week 1 Step 1: 'Ditch the Toxins'

Did you prep last week with step 1?

If you haven't already looked through your cabinets now is the time. Research what EWG verifies to see what is toxic or natural.

I did a deep clean of my kitchen and focused on cleaning the cabinets and walls, swept and mopped.

But I also detoxed the kitchen by looking in my cupboards for anything not suitable for cooking in.

Did you know that ceramic glazed crock pots leach cadmium and lead into your food? Yikes!

I switched to using this instant pot for this reason.

Week 2 Step 2: 'Make the Swap'

After learning about what is in your cabinets, you can switch to natural cleaners if so desired.

Homemade cleaners are more effective and inexpensive too.

Here are a couple of examples of what you can use instead of traditional cleaning agents.

May we inspire and encourage each other to do the most important work, building a healthy nest for us, and our families!

Much love,

Carlisle Bee.
